WMO may sell Wavin stake
A new ownership structure is emerging at Wavin (NL-8000 AD Zwolle; www.wavin.com). UK private equity group CVC Capital Partners (www.cvc.com), which currently owns 45.75% of the pipe systems manufacturer, will decide in July whether to take over the equally large stake held by WMO Beheer since Wavin´s founding. The remaining 8.5% is held by Wavin´s management. WMO, a group of investors including the Dutch province of Overijssel and 24 other institutional investors in the region, has said in the past that it would divest its stake when the time was right.
