Effective immediately, US-based Plastic Technologies (PTI, Holland, Ohio; www.plastictechnologies.com) has appointed Thierry Fabozzi president of Plastic Technologies. He will be responsible for global operations and report to Betsy Brady, chairwoman of the board.

In 2012, Fabozzi joined the company as managing director of PTI Europe (Yverdon-les-Bains / Switzerland, see Plasteurope.com of 10.01.2012). Before joining PTI, he was the business stream packaging leader and rigid packaging specialist at Nestlé’s Nestec Product Technology Center Orbe in Vevey / Switzerland. Previous to that, he worked for seven years in technical and business development positions at the Milacron Plastic Technology Group. He also has eight years of experience as a technical and research and development manager with Tetra Pak Plastics in Geneva / Switzerland.
