More than 400 delegates from over 40 countries are expected to attend, according to Zoran Davidovski, chair of the organising committee. The programme includes 90 technical and business presentations, covering developments in sustainability, innovation, and longevity in plastic piping systems.
Key topics include a meta-study by professor Gerald Pinter, head of the department of polymer engineering and science at Montanuniversität Leoben, which indicates that major plastic pipe systems could have a service life well beyond 100 years. Additional presentations will explore the impact of high-pressure hydrogen on plastic pipes, methods for recycling PVC waste containing legacy additives, and the development of new abrasion-resistant HDPE pipes for mining applications.
Early bird registration closes on 1 May. Full event details and registration are available at www.ppxxii.com.
