PLASTIC FANTASTIC
Black and white is the new colourful
There is no question about it: Black is the new black. While the world may have advanced to high-definition, 3D colourful television sets, the Lego toy bricks that are a quintessential part of many a childhood have become increasingly dull over the years. Research conducted by an aficionado of the “colourful” game has found that while in 1975, more than 25% of all bricks were bright red, today only about 50% are still considered colourful – the remainder consists of black, white and grey matter.

It just goes to show that there is some truth to the saying that some things were indeed better in the good old days, at least where colourful imaginations were concerned.
