PLASTIC FANTASTIC
You can fool some of the people some of the time...
...and in the coastal city of Mombasa in Kenya it appears you can fool all of the customs people all of the time; or at least at Halloween! The traditional US holiday at the end of October to scare off evil spirits apparently did just that recently when a Chinese container full of spooky decorations and plastic skeletons headed for a local shopping centre in preparation to celebrate All Hallows' Eve was opened on a routine inspection by local authorities. It seems customs officials were caught off guard and expressed horror as the grisly jumble of skeletons and skulls stared up at them. The incident was purely random, but let's be honest, how many out there have not entertained thoughts at least once of scaring the living daylights out of a custom's official? Ah, revenge is sweet...
