Now marketing “SoluPLAs” blue tint masterbatch / Originally developed for NatureWorks
Colour concentrate, compounds and additive producer Plastics Color Corporation (PCC, Calumet City, Illinois / USA; www.plasticscolor.com) has launched a marketing campaign for its “SoluPLAs TV 920259” blue tint masterbatch originally developed for NatureWorks (Minnetonka, Minnesota / USA; www.natureworksllc.com). PCC’s “SoluPLAs” family consists of PLA enhancements for controlling and adjusting clarity, UV protection qualities or noise reduction.
The US group also boasts other sustainable polymer solutions, it said, including its “SoluPET” colorants and resins made of post-consumer regrind, as well as its “SoluPur” line of biodegradable polymers. Key applications for the company’s portfolio include the pharmaceutical, medical and consumer goods markets, among others.
PCC operates product development laboratories and production facilities in the US (California, Illinois and North Carolina) as well as in Nanjing / China.
