After the successful launch of Plasteurope.com’s first survey on business performance and the economic outlook of Europe’s plastics industry in 2019, the fourth edition of the Plasteurope.com Readers Survey is now open. We invite you to share a few minutes of your time and answer several short questions to help us gain insight into the current mood in the sector and the projections for 2020. As a participant, you will receive the full evaluation including graphs compiled from the data. This is offered only to survey participants.
Now more than ever, it is important to have a barometer to better understand the situation of the plastics industry during the Covid-19 pandemic. The last Plasteurope.com Readers Survey in the second half of 2019 showed that the industry was feeling some pressure. Although the backlash against plastics and automotive slump last year were among the major obstacles, there was also some optimism to be seen (see Plasteurope.com of 14.02.2020). The arrival of the coronavirus has changed many things. In April, Plasteurope.com registered what this means for the industry in a flash survey (see Plasteurope.com of 29.05.2020). The regular Plasteurope.com Readers Survey – currently open until 17 July 2020 – is aiming to put the complex situation in context.
