Plasteurope.com’s market survey is back for its 12th edition and will remain open until 24 January 2025. We welcome you to take a few minutes to answer some short questions that will help you, and us, gain insight into the current mood of the European plastics industry and help shape the outlook for 2025.
With new regulations set to impact the plastics value chain, and waste reduction shifting more into focus, it has become all the more important to understand how industry players plan to deal with the EU’s austere expectations. Not to mention, the upcoming presidency of Donald Trump in the US, and the fear of added tariffs that accompanies it. Some of the questions in our latest survey address these issues head-on.
What will you, dear reader, gain from spending time on our survey? An executive summary and access to the exclusive evaluation with details of the results.
First the pandemic, then the geopolitical disruptions – it’s never been more important to have a barometer for the rapidly changing shape of the European plastics industry. According to PIE’s previous market survey, the industry’s hopes for recovery were rather low, but the appetite for spending followed an upward trajectory. On the cost side, soaring energy, labour, and production have consistently been at the top of the list of key challenges for European plastics companies for the past few years. Is that set to change in 2025?
