SIG acquires Ryka
The packaging group SIG Holding AG (www.sig.ch), Neuhausen / Switzerland, has acquired Canadian mould-builder, Ryka Blow Molds Ltd.of Mississauga. The move is intended to give SIG greater access to the North American market and to expand its competence as a system supplier of fully-equipped plants for the beverage sector. Ryka, which recently celebrated its 30th anniversary, is being integrated in SIG's beverages division.
