Bayer / Degussa: PolymerLatex sold to private equity firm
Bayer AG (www.bayer.com), Leverkusen, and Degussa AG (www.degussa.com), Düsseldorf, have sold their 50/50 joint venture PolymerLatex GmbH & Co KG, Marl, to Soros Private Equity Partners for about EUR 235m. PolymerLatex is one of the top producers of latex via its paper, specialty applications and carpet and foam divisions.
