Austrotherm opens EPS insulation plant in Serbia-Montenegro
Austria's Austrotherm (www.austrotherm.at), Waldegg/Wopfing, which claims to be the country's leading producer of polystyrene-based insulation sheets, has started up a new plant at Valjevo in Serbia-Montenegro. The new EUR 3.5m EPS facility, employing 20, will have capacity to produce 400,000 m² of sheets annually. In the final construction phase, scheduled to be completed in four to five years, 20 additional jobs are to be created.
