Nampak invests GBP 17m on in-plant projects
Following the completion of two hole-in-the-wall installations valued at GBP 17m for Dairy Crest, Nampak Plastics Europe(www.plysu.com), Newport Pagnell, is looking for further in-plant, blow moulding projects. The two recent projects required the installation of eight production cells at one site and the doubling of capacity, from four cells to eight, at a second location. Both plants are based on Uniloy blow moulding machines and use HDPE from a BP-Solvay venture supplying grades for the milk markets in the UK and mainland Europe.
