Mol increases stake in Slovakia's Slovnaft

Hungarian oil and petrochemical group Mol (www.mol.hu), Budapest, has increased its stake in Slovakian petrochemicals group Slovnaft (www.slovnaft.sk), Bratislava, to 98.5% through the acquisition of the 28.4% share package sold by Slovakian investment group J&T. At the beginning of January, Mol merged the petrochemicals activities of Slovnaft and Hungary's TVK group (www.tvk.hu), Tiszaujvaros.
