Profine posts 6% sales rise despite dollar
The dollar's weakness depressed sales of German plastic profiles manufacturer Profine (www.profine-group.com), Troisdorf, by a double-digit million sum in 2003. Nevertheless, turnover increased by 6% against 2002 to EUR 628m. The profiles segment of plastics group HT Troisdorf - which has been put up for sale by parent company Rütgers (www.ruetgers.de) - processed more than 230,000 t of PVC in 2003.
