Brenntag acquires polyolefins distributor Orlen Polimer
Brenntag Polska, Kedzierzyn-Kozle, Polish subsidiary of the German logistics and chemical distribution specialist Brenntag (www.brenntag.com), Mülheim, will acquire polyolefins distributor Orlen Polimer (Biala / Poland), a subsidiary of petrochemical group PKN Orlen (www.orlen.pl), Plock / Poland, for around EUR 2 bn. According to a company spokesperson, the deal is set to close at the end of April, pending approval by Polish authorities.
