Kendrion sells Van Niftrik to voestalpine's Polynorm
In a deal set to close at the end of April, industrial conglomerate Kendrion (www.kendrion.com), Zeist /The Netherlands, is selling its subsidiary, automotive supplier Kendrion Van Niftrik (www.pdn.com), Putte / The Netherlands, to Dutch automotive supplier Polynorm (www.polynorm.com), Bunschoten / The Netherlands. Polynorm is a subsidiary of Austrian steel and engineering group voestalpine (www.voest.com). Plans for the sale were announced in February. Van Niftrik, which employs 250, has annual sales of around EUR 40m and manufactures plastic parts for the automobile industry.
