Armacell buys three US sites of insolvent RBX
Armacell International (www.amacell.com), Münster / Germany, the insulation materials producer spun off in 2000 from US-based Armstrong World Industries, is acquiring three sites of RBX Industries in Illinois, Arkansas and North Carolina. RBX, which filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in February of this year, produces closed cell polyethylene and elastomer foams. The buy will add USD 50m to Armacell's "Technical Foam" turnover.
