PPG lifts prices for glass fibre
PPG Fiber Glass Europe (www.ppg.com), Hoogezand / The Netherlands, has announced a price rise for all of its glass fibre products in Europe by 5-15% in the second half of 2004, depending on product and application. Along with significant increases in energy-, raw material- and other costs, the company points to "a sudden higher fibre glass demand," which forced it to put some customers on allocation.
