Omya introduces new mineral modifiers
Switzerland´s Omya (www.omya.com), Ofringen, has developed new mineral modifiers for film applications and window profiles. "Omyafilm" 753-OM and the 780 and 782 grades have been designed for breathable films, while two calcium carbonate concentrates from the "Omyalene" family -112 m and 102 M - are intended for the production of polyolefin pipes and sheet. Finally, "Omyacarb SS T" with its polyolefin matrix is designed for use in plastic-coated cardboard packaging.
