Slovnaft PP expansion at Bratislava on stream in mid 2005
Slovakian polyolefins group Slovnaft (www.slovnaft.sk), Bratislava, is spending EUR 143m on expanding its PP capacity up to 2005. A new 180,000 t/y "Unipol" production line due onstream in mid 2005 will produce a broad range of impact- and random copolymers. According to Slovnanft technology expert Maria Ambrusova, most of the polymer output will go into film and blowmoulding applications, although injection moulding grades also will be produced.
