Wavin acquires in Poland
Leading European plastic pipe systems producer Wavin (www.wavin.com), Zwolle / The Netherlands, is to acquire Polish polypropylene hot and cold water systems manufacturer Borplus from Uponor Polska, effective 1 June. The deal, which includes the production plant at Sochaczew, 50 km west of Warsaw, and 30 employees, will be transacted through the Dutch company's Polish subsidiary Wavin Metalplast-Buk. Borplus has annual sales of EUR 6m.
