Greiner Group sees strong growth in all segments
For the Austrian Greiner Group (www.greiner.at), Kremsmünster, with its two companies, Greiner Holding AG and Greiner Bio-One, the diversification drive paid off again in 2004. Global sales rose by 16% to EUR 755m, due especially to expansion in central and eastern Europe. Double-digit growth is again expected in 2005. With sales of EUR 202m (up 13% against 2003) and a workforce of nearly 2,000, Greiner Packaging International is still the most important company in the holding. In Foams and Extrusion Technology, too, Greiner said it was able to build significantly on its market position throughout Europe in 2004.
