SIG Combibloc expands in Brazil

Aseptic beverage carton manufacturer SIG Combibloc (www.combibloc.com), Linnich / Germany, has entered into a strategic partnership with Frimesa, a major food supplier in Brazil trading as a cooperative in the meat and milk market. SIG is focusing on the region as part of its global expansion strategy. The market for aseptic beverage cartons in South America is around 7 bn litres annually and continues to rise, with Brazil accounting for around 80%.
