New PET-recycling facility at Kruschitz
Austrian PET recycler, Kruschitz GmbH (www.kruschitz-plastic.com), Völkermarkt, plans to bring a new "Vacurema" PET-recycling facility on stream in October 2005. Following the company's investment in a single-stage film plant for the processing of recycled PET bottles in 2002 and the addition of a twin-screw extruder to the plant for producing PET compounds required by the automotive and electronics industry, Kruschitz claims that its new two-stage facility is the only "bottle-to-bottle" facility in Austria. The investment volume is around EUR 3m.
