Greiner Packaging to integrate cork activities
Greiner Packaging (Kremsmünster / Austria; www.greiner-gpi.com) has decided to integrate its Vinotec cork manufacturing activities - the group's original business - into the group. Founded in 1878, Vinotec, which employs 31 people, currently has three production sites in Austria and Germany and annual sales of EUR 9.3m. The wine bottle closures are made from plastic as well as natural cork. Greiner plans to pursue growth in eastern Europe and further develop the company into a general supplier of bottle closures.
