For material with a viscosity of 78 ml/g or more, the General Directorate of Trade found dumping margins of 16-24% in 2022. On 31 October, the commission announced punitive tariffs of 6.6-24.2%, depending on the company.

The tariffs can come into force within four weeks of publication of the proposal; until then, the affected companies have the opportunity to object.
