In 1993, upon its 25th anniversary, Petrimex AG (Dr. VI. Clementisa 10, SR-82602 Bratislava) took a look at its past. Since its founding in 1968, the company has concentrated on the import and export of chemical raw materials (pharmaceutical industry, agriculture etc.) and also, among others, plastics and machinery. Petrimex was founded as a stock company. At that time, the shares were already held by the main beneficiaries, which are the leading producers of chemical and agricultural products, as well as by banks in the Slovakian Republic. The company imports its starting materials. The finished products manufactured are exported. In 1993, imports accounted for approximately two thirds of the entire trade volume. In Germany, the Benelux countries, Switzerland, Austria, Scandinavia and the Czech Republic, Petrimex maintains joint ventures (acutally trading partnership). – German HQ: Deutsche Petrimex GmbH (Guiollettstr. 54, D-60325 Frankfurt).

The range of plastics offered includes LDPE, PP, PVC, PET in various qualities. In addition, Petrimex supplies used plastics in the form of regranulates, agglomerates, ground material, films etc. – Contact: Ivan Furek.
