Kevin McDonald named new president of PPG Industries' Fibre Glass operations

US coatings and speciality chemicals producer PPG Industries (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; www.ppg.com) has announced that following the 1 March retirement of Thomas Kerr, Kevin McDonald will take over as vice president of "Fibre Glass" operations. McDonald currently manages the group’s Reinforcements business and is also in charge of overseeing fibre glass operations in the Americas as well as Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
In his new post, McDonald – who has been with PPG since 1980 – reports directly to the company's executive vice president, Viktor Sekmakas.
