Marek Switajewski named CEO of Unipetrol

On 8 April 2013, Marek Switajewski was appointed new chairman of the Board and CEO of Unipetrol (Prague / Czech Republic; www.unipetrol.cz). He succeeds Piotr Chelminski, who resigned from his position and will continue as member of the company's supervisory board and member of the board of directors of PKN Orlen(Plock / Poland; www.orlen.pl).
Before Switajewski first joined the company in 2010, he worked for TP Emitel as technical director. Since 2012 he has been a member of Unipetrol's board of directors, responsible for the refinery segment.
