Personnel changes at BASF in German HQ and the US

Hartwig Michels (49), currently president of the global competence center Procurement of BASF (Ludwigshafen / Germany; www.basf.com), will become president of the Europe regional division as of October 1 2013. He succeeds Jacques Delmoitiez (59), who will retire effective September 30 2013, after working at BASF for 28 years.
Fried-Walter Münstermann (48), currently president Regional Functions North America of BASF Corporation (Florham Park, New Jersey / USA; www.basf.com/usa), will succeed Michels effective August 1 2013. He will be succeeded by André Becker (44), senior vice president Global Executive Human Resources, effective July 1 2013.
