Rüdiger Hilbert becomes new managing director of Sidel Germany

Sidel International (Hünenberg / Switzerland; www.sidel.com), a global provider of PET bottle manufacturing machinery for liquid packaging, has appointed Rüdiger Hilbert as the new commercial and managing director of its German subsidiary, Sidel GmbH (Viernheim). In his new capacity, Hilbert has been tasked with further enhancing and strengthening the company’s presence in the German market, building on the group’s existing strategy of providing global experience backed by local sales and service support.
Before joining Sidel, Hilbert worked for 10 years at Elopak (Spikkestad / Norway; www.elopack.com), where he held several engineering and management positions.
