New president to oversee Teknor Apex's global compounding business

On 28 January 2013, US custom compounder Teknor Apex (Pawtucket, Rhode Island; www.teknorapex.com) announced that it had appointed William J. Murray as president, charged with overseeing the company’s entire global compounding business. He succeeds Jonathan D. Fain, who remains as group CEO and also becomes chairman of Teknor Apex’s board. Murray was simultaneously appointed president of the group’s Asian business, Singapore-based Teknor Apex Asia Pacific.
Murray first joined the US compounder in 1978 and last served as executive vice president, a position he was appointed to in 2006.
