Elena Scaltritti named Songwon's new sales director Europe

Polymer additives producer Songwon Industrial (Ulsan / South Korea; www.songwonind.com) has appointed Elena Scaltritti as its new sales director Europe. She succeeds Dieter Morath, who remains Songwon's executive vice president Sales and is a member of the company's executive committee.
Over the past 10 years of experience in the plastics industry, Scaltritti worked for BASF's (Ludwigshafen / Germany; www.basf.com) subsidiary Ciba Specialty Chemicals and continued her career at BASF, where she served as pricing manager in the Performance Chemicals division. She joined Songwon in 2011 and to date has managed the group's main European accounts.
