Ziad Al-Labban becomes new CEO of Sadara Chemical

On 1 October 2012, Ziad Al-Labban took over as new chief executive at Sadara Chemical (Al-Jubail / Saudi Arabia; www.sadara.com). His nomination by the company’s board follows the decision by previous CEO Ali Abuali to retire. Before taking the helm of the joint venture between Dow Chemical (Midland, Michigan / USA; www.dow.com) and Saudi Aramco (Dhahran / Saudi Arabia; www.saudiaramco.com), Al-Labban had served as president and CEO of Rabigh Refining and Petrochemical Company (Petro Rabigh, Rabigh / Saudi Arabia; www.petrorabigh.com).
