At the beginning of January 2012, Emerald Kalama Chemical, a division of Emerald Performance Materials (Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio / USA; www.emeraldmaterials.com), announced the appointment of Golnar Motahari Pour as K-Flex product line manager for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Motahari Pour fills a new position at the division´s European headquarters in Geleen / The Netherlands. She will be a member of the division´s leadership team and have responsibility of K-Flex sales and operations throughout Europe. K-Flex is a non-phthalate, non SVHC, dibenzoate plasticiser which offers multiple performance benefits for adhesives, sealants and coatings.

Prior to joining Emerald, Motahari Pour worked for General Electric (GE, Fairfield, Connecticut / USA; www.ge.com) in various management roles. "Golnar will be a highly valuable asset to our organisation as we expand our infrastructure in Europe," said Ed Gotch, president of Emerald Kalama Chemical.
