New management at Mitsubishi Chemical / Subsidiaries MPL and MRC also under new management

Effective 1 April 2012, Japan´s Mitsubishi Chemical (MCC, Tokyo; www.m-kagaku.co.jp) will be under new management: Yoshimitsu Kobayashi, former CEO of MCC, will take over as board chairman. His successor as CEO is Hiroaki Ishizuka.
New director of Mitsubishi Plastics (MPI, Tokyo / Japan; www.mpi.co.jp) will be Takumi Ubagai, who will succeed Hiroshi Yoshida. Yoshida, in turn, will take over a senior advising role. PMMA-producer Mitsubishi Rayon (MRC, Tokyo / Japan; www.mrc.co.jp) will also face some changes by the beginning of April: Current CEO Masanao Kambara will join the company´s board, while Hitoshi Ochi is appointed to become new CEO.
