On 31 December 2011, Sten Daugaard, CFO of the Lego Group (Billund; www.lego.com), is resigning at his own request to pursue interests outside the company. Daugaard joined the Danish toy manufacturer in 2008 from a position as CFO in the SGL Group (Wiesbaden / Germany; www.sglcarbon.com).
At the moment, a recruitment process for Daugaard´s successor in the position of CFO has started, which according to Lego spokeswoman Charlotte Simonsen, may last several months.
