Tobias Strasser named Greiner Packaging CEO in Switzerland

Greiner Packaging Switzerland, subsidiary of Greiner Packaging International (GPI, Kremsmünster / Austria; www.greiner-gpi.com), has appointed Tobias Strasser as its new CEO to succeed Andreas Frank on 1 January 2012. Frank will remain as CEO of the Greiner Group in Switzerland, which in addition to Greiner Packaging includes Rundpack and the Greiner Packaging Holding. In future, Frank also will oversee the group’s west European operations as well as assuming other group management functions. At “Division K”, Strasser will be succeeded by Kenneth Boldog.
The Swiss offshoot, based at Diepoldsau, is one of GPI’s largest subsidiaries with sales of CHF 95m and 329 employees in 2010. Greiner Packaging, with nearly 3,000 European employees, accounts for 35% of the Greiner Group’s annual sales of EUR 403m (see also Plasteurope.com of 13.05.2011).
