Huntsman (Salt Lake City, Utah / USA; www.huntsman.com) has appointed Anthony Hankins, president of its PU division, as CEO for Asia Pacific. The role has been created to co-ordinate Huntsman’s rapidly expanding presence in the region, the company said. Hankins will be based in new regional headquarters in Hong Kong. He will continue as president of the PU division, which will relocate its global headquarters from The Woodlands, Texas / USA to Hong Kong later this year.

Huntsman CEO Peter Huntsman said: “Asia Pacific already accounts for a quarter of our global sales, but we have recognised that we need to accelerate our investment in people and physical assets to strengthen our long-term position in this exciting market.”
