Sienkiewicz appointed Balda CEO

Michael Sienkiewicz has been appointed chief executive office of mobile phone supplier Balda (Bad Oeynhausen / Germany; www.balda.de) with immediate effect. Sienkiewicz is a former member of the Balda supervisory board and was previously president of touch sensitive display specialist Elo TouchSystems (Menlo Park, California / USA; www.elotouch.com). Most recently he has been working as a management consultant, evaluating technologies and patents, and teaching at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. His appointment follows a management restructuring approved by the company’s annual general meeting on 3 July 2009 – see Plasteurope.com of 22.06.2009.
