Trojnarski appointed CEO and president of Anwil
Maciej Trojnarski has been appointed CEO and president of Anwil (Wloclawek / Poland; www.anwil.com.pl), the chemicals and PVC production unit of PKN Orlen (PKN, Plock / Poland; www.orlen.pl). Acting CEO Teresa Szeligowska will move to the role of deputy CEO and chief financial and economic officer. Trojnarski is a lawyer experienced in international trade, the automotive industry and plastics processing. He worked for Wavin (Zwolle / The Netherlands; www.wavin.com) from 1992 prior to joining Anwil.
In October 2008, nitrogen fertiliser producers Zaklady Aztowe Kedzierzyn (ZAK, Kedzierzyn; www.zak.com.pl) and Zaklady Azotowe Tarnow (ZAT, Tarnow; www.azoty.tarnow.pl) made a joint EUR 500m bid for Anwil – see Plasteurope.com of 17.10.2008.
