Husky Injection Molding Systems (Bolton, Ontario / Canada; www.husky.ca) has appointed Dinesh Budapanahalli as vice president for service and sales for the global hot runners and tooling business. The Canadian company said the appointment will help strengthen relations with its hot runner customers, which have an increasingly global focus.

Budapanahalli, who was previously general manager of Husky’s Asian tooling operations, will be responsible for growing the global hot runner and tooling operations. Husky is investing in its manufacturing network, including expansions technical centres in Shanghai / China and São Paulo / Brazil and the opening of a new primary hot runner production facility in Chennai / India.
