Galpin to head Teknor Apex UK TPE business development

Barry Galpin has been appointed European business development manager for the thermoplastic elastomer division of Teknor Apex UK (Oldbury / UK), which was established in 2008 by Teknor Apex (Pawtucket, Rhode Island / USA; www.teknorapex.com). He will be responsible for TPE marketing and will oversee sales activity though the company’s network of distributors of TPE compounds across Europe. He succeeds Nick Sandland, who has taken up a new position with the division in the US.
Galpin was previously with the Paulstra division of Hutchinson Worldwide (Paris / France; www.hutchinsonworldwide.com), which manufactures anti-vibration, acoustic, insulation, and sealing systems for transportation markets.
