Biesterfeld Plastic: Managing director Müller resigns
Thomas Müller, managing director of plastics distributor Biesterfeld Plastic (Hamburg / Germany; www.biesterfeld-plastic.com), is leaving the company at his own request, effective 30 June 2007, after six months in the job and 25 years with the company. This was confirmed to Plasteurope.com both by Müller and Birger Kuck, member of the management board at parent company Biesterfeld AG (Hamburg; www.biesterfeld.de).
Müller and Carsten Harms were appointed managing directors in January 2007, to fill the position vacated shortly before by Rainer Huneke – see Plasteurope.com Web of 10.01.2007. At the time, Biesterfeld AG said the appointment of the two long-term managers ensured that the company’s “successful strategy will be continued.”
