Biesterfeld names Harms and Müller to succeed Huneke
With immediate effect, Biesterfeld AG (Hamburg / Germany; www.biesterfeld.de) has appointed Carsten Harms and Thomas Müller as managing directors of its plastics distribution arm, Biesterfeld Plastic (Hamburg; www.biesterfeld-plastic.com). The appointment of the two to jointly fill the position vacated shortly before Christmas by Rainer Huneke guarantees "continuity in the management board" and ensures that the company´s "successful strategy" will be continued, Biesterfeld AG said in a statement. Harms previously had responsibility for the operative business at Biesterfeld Plastic, while Müller last headed the business units Organisation and Administration.
