Teruyasu Ishioka new president of MMTE
Teruyasu Ishioka is the new president of Mitsui Machine Tool Europe GmbH (MMTE, D-41409 Neuss; www.mmte.de). He assumed the job on 1 April 2004, succeeding Akio Sakurai, who was appointed to a new leadership position at the Tokyo headquarters of the globally operating commercial trading company. Since 1999, Ishioka had been executive director of MMTE, where he was mainly responsible for European sales and service activities of Fanuc injection moulding machinery. These responsibilities have been taken over by Arata Kimura.
