Italian bottle cap maker acquires plants in Canada, US
Italian caps and closures manufacturer Pelliconi (Ozzano dell’Emilia; www.pelliconi.com) said it has completed the acquisition of production assets from Novembal USA (Peoria, Arizona, USA), which specialises in the design and production of plastic caps.

The takeover allows Pelliconi to further consolidate its position in the plastic closures sector by expanding its presence in North America, the company said. Novembal operates a domestic plant in Peoria, Arizona, and one in Rawdon, Quebec, Canada, adding to Pelliconi’s existing North American operation in Orlando, Florida, USA.

In addition to its home country, the Italian firm produces metal closures in China and Egypt.
