Polycarbonate bottle facility in Luxembourg
Plastiv Yakum (Yakum / Israel; www.plastiv.com), which claims to be the leading manufacturer of blow-moulded containers, bottles and injection-moulded closures in Israel, plans to open a production facility for polycarbonate water bottles in Rodange / Luxembourg, together with the recently established PCP Lux SA (L-4801 Rodange). A sum of EUR 1m has been earmarked for investment in machinery during the first stage, and production of 8 to 20-litre bottles will commence with seven employees. The bottles are destined primarily for customers in western Europe. Plastiv“s production range includes plastic closures for composite milk packaging produced by Israel“s Elopak subsidiary Elocap Ltd (Yakum / Israel) and also takes in engineering components. Materials employed include HDPE, LDPE, PP, PC and PET.
