Palram Ltd (IL-30035 Ramat Yohanan) is the Israeli parent of two expanding sheet extrusion operations in the UK. At the beginning of 1996 the company set up Polycarb Ltd (Unit 2, Doncaster Carr Industrial Estate, White Rose Way, GB-Doncaster DN4 5JH) for the manufacture of extruded polycarbonate and acrylic sheet. The factory has a capacity of 3,000 t and intends to add PETG sheet to its product range from 1997 (presently imported from Israel). During 1996 the company also invested in a new production line for the manufacture of corrugated PVC sheet at its Durham Plastics Ltd (22 Coatham Avenue, Aycliffe Industrial Estate, GB-Newton Aycliffe DL5 6DB) facility. This plant, which formerly belonged to Wavin Industrial Products Ltd, is specialised in producing PVC sheet for industrial and building applications.

The two factories in the UK have a total capacity of around 8,000 t and Palram's global capacity is now over 25,000 t for a wide variety of sheet. Its other facilities include two factories in Israel and a new factory in India, Finoram Sheets Ltd.
