The German national packaging waste collection company Duales System Deutschland GmbH (DSD, Frankfurter Str. 720-726, D-51145 Köln) has now published in English its review of international concepts for recycling of packaging wastes in 25 European and non-European countries, including Australia, Japan, Taiwan, Canada and the United States. The 70-page volume entitled "Packaging Recycling International" (PIE-No. 37880), spotlights, country for country, the legal framework as well as the logistics for collection and recycling, against the background of national peculiarities. DSD observes that its "green dot" has been a model for systems in several countries.
